Govt to install three olive extraction mills, 6 mobile units ,about 600,000 acres of land was identified in Balochistan.

Balochistan is the major producer of dates in Pakistan as it produces 45% of the total production. Sindh stands at the second place with 43% share, followed by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) with 2% and Punjab with 1%..

It is one of the most important and widely cultivated fruit crops in the balochistan , with a history of cultivation dating back thousands of years. The date palm is a tall, single-stemmed tree with a crown of large, feather-like leaves..

The Horticultural Society of Balochistan is a non-profit making organization which was founded Quetta Balochistan in 2023. The Society aims to promote the science and practice of horticulture in Balochistan.

‘Horti Mag ’ is an official magazine of “Pakistan Society for Horticultural Science ”, which publishes innovative but practical techniques and management strategies for challenging issues of horticulture industry, and covers all aspects of fruits, vegetables, spices, flowers, ornamentals, turfgrasses, medicinal plants, mushrooms etc. Editorial team of HortiMag has taken an initiative to develop a national “Pakistan Horticulture Resource Guide” to gather all horticulture related businesses information on one platform, which would be just a click away from the consumers, in order to enhance visibility of local horticulture related businesses and to facilitate the consumers for finding horticultural products nearby.

This is open for all horticulture related industries and stakeholders to make their businesses more visible and accessible and will serve as a resource for developing online horticulture businesses in the country as well.
