Article 1 – introduction
HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY OF
BALOCHISTAN
The name of this society shall be the Horticultural Society of
Balochistan, hereinafter referred to as "the Society." The
headquarters of the Society shall be located in Quetta, Balochistan. The society

The Executive Committee members
shall be elected by the Society's members through a voting process.
The term of the Executive
Committee members shall be two years, and they can be re-elected for a maximum
of two consecutive terms.
Article 6 – Meetings
Ø The Society shall hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) of
its members, at which the Executive Committee members shall be elected.
Ø The Executive Committee shall hold Regular board meetings(RBM)
to discuss and review the Society's activities and make decisions regarding its
affairs.
Ø The General secretary shall present the Society's annual report
to the members at the AGM
Ø The quorum for the AGM and Executive Committee meetings shall be
one-third of the Society's members.
Article 7 –
Finances
Ø The Society's finances shall be managed by the Treasurer, under
the guidance and supervision of the Executive Committee.
Ø The Society's financial year shall be from January 1st to
December 31st.
Ø The Treasurer shall present the Society's annual financial
report to the members at the AGM.
Article 8 –
Amendments
Ø
This Constitution may be
amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the Society's members.
Ø
Any proposed amendments
shall be circulated to the members at least thirty days before the AGM.
Article 9 – Dissolution
Ø The Society may be dissolved by a two-thirds majority vote of
the Society's members.
Ø Upon dissolution, any remaining funds and assets shall be
transferred to a registered charity or non-profit organization with similar
objectives to the Society, as determined by the Executive Committee.
